The members will rise and be led in prayer by the honorable Wendell Walker, delegate, and remain standing for the Pledge of Allegiance of the flag, United States of America, which will be led by the delegate from Alexandria, Delegate herring. Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Before I pray, I'd like to share one verse from the Scriptures, and that is 2 Chronicles 7:14. You may be familiar with this, but if my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and then turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven. I will forgive their sins and heal their lands. Shall we pray? Heavenly Father, as we come before you today, we come with grateful and thankful hearts for life, for your love to us, for what you mean in our lives. Dear Lord, we thank you for your forgiveness.
