Goodwin, Old Cool Spring Baptist Church, Franklin, and remain standing for the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, which will be led by the delegate from Alexandria, Delegate Herring. Thank you. To the speaker of the House, members of this House of Delegates, and honorable Nadarius Klopp. Let us pray. Father God, it is to you that we give the glory, honor and majesty, the Creator of heaven and earth, who speaks and calls the earth from the rising of the sun to the setting of the same. We pray special thanks today, God, to the members of this House of Delegates and the honorable Nadarius Clark, for the privilege of standing in this hallowed and historic place to invoke your presence, your promises and power, whose laws are true and whose will are good and gracious.
