The members will rise and be led in prayer by the honorable Mike A. Cherry, the delegate from Colonial Heights. These are your friends and remain standing for the pleasure of the leaders of the flag of the United States of America, which will be led by the delegate from Alexandria, Delegate Herring. Join me in a word of prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for this day. We're told in scripture to come before your throne with thanksgiving and praise. So we thank you for this day. We thank you for this opportunity to come and to be a part of the legislative process to represent those in our districts that have sent us here. Father, we're commanded in scripture to pray for those in leadership above us. So we pray for our governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General for the speaker and the members of this house.
