So today we're going to move right on with. I think there are four bills that we will be looking at. And at this time. Mr. Zach, if you would. Yes. Start with House Bill 2 99, please. Thank you. Madam Chair, your first bill is House Bill 299, Delegate Helmer. This addresses SOL assessments. It clarifies assessment alternatives for special education students. Repeals through your growth assessments, establishes some expectations for local alternative assessments. It requires the Board of Education to provide school divisions with best practices for grading local alternative assessments with a deadline of September 1, 2026. And it also establishes features desired for the new assessment contract proposal that's coming up, all of which are subject to a reenactment clause.
