Collins, Appalachian School of Theology, Nicholsville, and remain standing for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of United States of America, which will be led by the delegate from Alexandria, Delegate Herring. Good afternoon. Shall we pray? Gracious and sovereign Lord, we just want to thank you for this opportunity to gather with these our fellow Virginians. And what a heritage that we share and what a legacy that we have to fulfill. So we come to you today, lifting our members of the House of Delegates up to you, because you are the giver of all wisdom. And we ask that you would grant them clear minds and discerning hearts as they make decisions that affect many lives.
