Here. Story. Here. Martinez. Presente. Madam Chair. Here. Okay. And our bill sponsors are here. Today we are hearing two bills, House Bill 1191 and Senate Bill 34. We will start with House Bill 1191. Who would like to kick us off? Rep. Johnson thank you Madam Chair. And thank you. Committee House Bill 261161 came unanimously out of the Audit committee. And so what this bill would do is it would revise the requirement that states the state auditor should annually examine the amount of state education funds on school capital construction projects and instead make this review at the state auditor's discretion. Thank you. Sorry. We tried to coordinate our presentation the Building Excellence Schools Today grant so best the legislation passed in 2008 and it changed the state source of funding for school district capital construction. As a result, only charter schools capital construction projects have been expended from the state education fund since that time.
