Sign language interpretation for the deafblind community is essential to ensuring meaningful access to opportunities and service. When interpretation services are inaccurate, people are deprived of the information they need to navigate society. This bill seeks to ensure that sign language interpreters are qualified for their positions so we can ensure that accurate information is being translated to the community.
