So this is if you remember, we heard this bill a few weeks ago. What I wanted to discuss with you all today is we have had some very productive conversations between the higher education institutions that are offering prison education courses to incarcerate students in the state and with Department of Higher Education. In light of some new information, the Department of Higher Education has gracefully offered a memo that accomplishes exactly what the bill was intended to do. So it creates a working group. We have all those institutions that participate in this program into this working group to try to work out some of those back ended pieces that we had discussed before. So in light of that memo and the creation and formation of a working group, we no longer need this bill. So I respectfully ask for House Bill 26:10 93 to be postponed indefinitely.…
