We are going to begin the review and comment hearing for proposed initiatives 2025, 2026, number 308 and number 309, which we have captioned concerning designating sporting goods sales tax revenue for conservation. My name is Greg Sovetsky. I am here representing the Office of Legislative Council staff and I'm joined by a representative of the Office of Legislative Legal Services. My name is Pierce Lively on behalf of the Office of Legislative Legal Services. Brendan Witt. I'm a proponent. Martha Tierney, Council for the Proponents. Aaron Citroen, opponent. Excellent. Gentlemen. Ms. Tierney, thank you so much for being here with us this morning. We appreciate it. Section 140, 105, sub 1, Colorado Revised Statutes requires the directors of LCS and OLS to review and comment on initiative petitions for proposed laws and amendments to the Colorado Constitution. We hereby submit our comments and questions to you. Proposed initiatives 308 and 309 were submitted by the same designated representatives as a series of proposed initiatives.
